Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis to identify disruptive technologies and societal shifts impacting 2026+ landscapes
- Develop strategic foresight frameworks including scenario planning, risk assessment, and opportunity mapping
- Collaborate with C-suite executives to integrate future insights into corporate strategy and investment decisions
- Design and facilitate cross-functional innovation workshops to co-create future-proof solutions
- Produce high-impact foresight reports and visualizations communicating complex future scenarios
- Build and maintain an ecosystem of external experts, researchers, and thought leaders
- Monitor and evaluate emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech) for strategic application
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Strategic Foresight, Futures Studies, Technology Innovation, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 7+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futurist role with Fortune 500 exposure
- Proven expertise in foresight methodologies (scenario planning, Delphi, backcasting)
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to synthesize complex data into actionable narratives
- Deep knowledge of emerging technologies and their societal implications
- Executive-level presentation skills with track record influencing high-stakes decisions
- Portfolio demonstrating successful future-strategy implementations
- Certification in Strategic Foresight or Innovation Management (e.g., APF, CFSD)
