Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain 2026+ technology foresight frameworks using trend analysis and scenario planning
- Lead strategic workshops to identify emerging opportunities in AI, quantum computing, and biotech
- Produce quarterly future-state reports with actionable recommendations for executive leadership
- Partner with product teams to integrate foresight insights into 3-5 year roadmaps
- Build and manage a network of industry futurists, academics, and innovation scouts
- Present future scenarios at executive board meetings and industry conferences
- Oversee the development of proprietary foresight methodologies and tools
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record developing technology roadmaps for Fortune 500 companies
- Expertise in AI/ML, quantum computing, or emerging biotech domains
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Technology Management, or related field
- Exceptional data storytelling and executive presentation skills
- Experience with horizon scanning methodologies (e.g., Delphi, STEEPLE)
- Published thought leadership in tech innovation or futurism
- Strong network in Silicon Valley tech and academic ecosystems
