Responsibilities
- Manage seamless guest check-in/check-out processes with warm Southern hospitality
- Handle reservation management and room assignments using Opera PMS
- Resolve guest inquiries with local expertise and personalized recommendations
- Process payments and maintain accurate financial documentation
- Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance teams for operational excellence
- Execute upselling techniques for premium rooms and local experiences
- Maintain security protocols for guest safety and property integrity
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year front desk or hospitality experience
- Proficiency in hotel management systems (Opera PMS preferred)
- Exceptional communication and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to multitask in fast-paced weekend environments
- Valid Louisiana hospitality certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Flexible availability including weekends, holidays, and late nights
- Deep knowledge of New Orleans attractions and transportation
