Responsibilities
- Guest Check-In/Out: Process guest registrations and check-outs efficiently using our Property Management System (PMS).
- Front Line Support: Answer incoming calls and emails promptly, providing information and resolving inquiries with a smile.
- Problem Resolution: Address guest complaints and requests immediately, escalating complex issues to the manager when necessary.
- Revenue Management: Assist with up-selling rooms and hotel amenities to maximize revenue.
- Front Desk Operations: Maintain the front desk area, ensuring it is clean, organized, and fully stocked with necessary supplies.
- Communication: Collaborate effectively with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure guest rooms are ready for arrivals.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous front desk or guest services experience in the hospitality industry is preferred.
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with hotel PMS (e.g., Opera, Smith Travel) is a plus.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a professional telephone manner.
- Availability: Must be available to work weekends (Friday, Saturday, and Sunday) and occasional holidays.
- Professionalism: Ability to work independently and maintain a high level of professionalism in a busy environment.
