Responsibilities
- Guest Relations: Greet all guests warmly and professionally, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere from the moment they arrive.
- Check-In/Check-Out: Process guest registrations and check-outs efficiently, verifying identities and payment methods while ensuring accuracy.
- Reservation Management: Assist with room assignments, upgrades, and reservation changes using the property management system (PMS).
- Inquiry Resolution: Address guest inquiries, requests, and complaints with grace and professionalism, escalating complex issues to the supervisor when necessary.
- Front Office Maintenance: Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the front desk area, lobby, and public spaces.
- Security & Safety: Adhere to all hotel security protocols and emergency procedures to ensure the safety of guests and staff.
- Upselling: Promote hotel amenities, dining options, and local attractions to enhance the guest experience and drive revenue.
Qualifications
- Experience: Prior front desk or hospitality experience is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
- Availability: Must be available to work weekends (Friday, Saturday, and Sunday) and flexible shifts.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and property management software (e.g., Opera, StayNTouch).
- Education: High school diploma or GED required.
- Professionalism: Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
