Responsibilities
- Oversee daily shift operations across front desk, housekeeping, and guest services departments
- Manage staff scheduling, assignments, and performance during assigned shifts
- Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and VIP requests with exceptional service
- Ensure compliance with safety, sanitation, and brand standards
- Conduct shift handovers and maintain accurate operational logs
- Train and mentor new team members on departmental procedures
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate maintenance requests
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years hotel supervisory experience required
- Proven ability to manage high-pressure situations with composure
- Strong leadership and conflict resolution skills
- Flexible availability for evening/night/weekend shifts
- Proficiency in hotel management software (Opera, Fidelio, etc.)
- Valid New York State Food Handler's Certificate preferred
- Ability to stand/walk for extended periods and lift up to 30 lbs
- High school diploma or equivalent; hospitality degree preferred
