Responsibilities
- Manage weekend front desk operations and guest check-in/check-out processes
- Coordinate housekeeping and maintenance teams for weekend service delivery
- Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and special requests with professionalism
- Oversee weekend event setup and banquet service coordination
- Ensure strict adherence to safety and security protocols
- Train and mentor new weekend shift staff
- Monitor inventory and weekend staffing levels
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years hotel or hospitality experience required
- Availability for consistent weekend shifts (Fri-Sun evenings)
- Strong conflict resolution and multitasking abilities
- Proficient in hotel management software (Opera, etc.)
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure during peak periods
- Valid Illinois Food Handler's certification preferred
- Basic knowledge of Chicago tourism attractions
