Responsibilities
- Maintain immaculate cleanliness in guest rooms, lobbies, and common areas using advanced sanitation protocols
- Execute detailed room turnovers including bed-making, surface disinfection, and restocking amenities
- Operate commercial-grade equipment (floor buffers, extractors) safely and efficiently
- Coordinate with front desk and maintenance teams for seamless service delivery
- Adhere to OSHA and CDC standards for chemical handling and waste disposal
- Document cleaning activities and report maintenance issues promptly
- Participate in deep-cycling projects during off-peak hours
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year professional housekeeping or institutional cleaning experience
- Ability to lift 30+ lbs and perform physical tasks for extended periods
- Valid DC work permit and clean background check
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays on rotating shifts
- Proficiency with eco-friendly cleaning chemicals and microfiber technology
- Exceptional attention to detail and time management skills
- Basic English proficiency for safety compliance and guest interactions
