Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning initiatives to identify disruptive technologies and societal shifts impacting 2026+ markets
- Develop and maintain a dynamic innovation pipeline with 5-10 year strategic roadmaps
- Facilitate scenario planning workshops for executives on future-proofing business models
- Analyze macroeconomic data and emerging research to forecast industry transformation
- Partner with R&D teams to prototype and validate future-facing concepts
- Present strategic insights to stakeholders through compelling visualizations and narratives
- Build and nurture a global network of futurists, technologists, and industry disruptors
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futurism, Innovation Strategy, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record of translating future trends into commercial opportunities
- Expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and systemic thinking frameworks
- Strong proficiency in data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Flourish)
- Exceptional presentation skills with executive-level experience
- Deep knowledge of emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech)
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., CFAP) or equivalent
