Responsibilities
- Lead cross-functional research on AI bias mitigation and fairness metrics
- Develop ethical frameworks for autonomous systems and generative AI
- Author white papers for IEEE and ACM publications on responsible AI
- Advocate regulatory standards with US congressional technology committees
- Mentor PhD interns from Stanford and MIT's AI ethics programs
- Design auditing protocols for enterprise AI deployment pipelines
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Philosophy, or related field with 5+ years AI ethics experience
- Published research in top-tier venues (NeurIPS, Nature AI, etc.)
- Expertise in fairness-aware machine learning and adversarial robustness
- Proficiency in Python, PyTorch, and causal inference frameworks
- Demonstrated experience advising Fortune 100 AI governance boards
- Deep understanding of EU AI Act and NIST AI RMF guidelines
- Strong background in applied ethics and philosophy of technology
