Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome guests with a warm, professional demeanor upon arrival, ensuring a positive first impression.
- Check guests in and out efficiently using hotel management software, collecting payments and processing credit cards securely.
- Answer incoming phone calls and emails promptly, responding to inquiries regarding hotel amenities, local attractions, and room availability.
- Manage the front desk operations, including handling mail, packages, and forwarding messages to guests.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the reception area and lobby at all times.
- Assist guests with any special requests or concerns, escalating issues to management when necessary to ensure guest satisfaction.
- Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure rooms are ready for new arrivals.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; some college or hospitality training is a plus.
- Previous experience in customer service, hospitality, or retail is preferred but not required (Entry Level friendly).
- Strong verbal communication skills and a friendly, approachable personality.
- Proficiency with computers and basic typing skills; familiarity with hotel PMS systems is a bonus.
- The ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate amounts of weight (up to 25 lbs).
- Must be available to work flexible shifts, including weekends, nights, and holidays.
- Valid driver's license is recommended but not mandatory.
