Responsibilities
- Greet and Welcome: Welcome guests upon arrival with a warm, professional demeanor and assist with check-in/check-out procedures efficiently.
- Guest Relations: Act as the primary point of contact for guest inquiries, complaints, and requests, ensuring a seamless and pleasant experience.
- Concierge Services: Provide information about local San Diego attractions, dining, and transportation options to enhance the guest stay.
- Front Desk Operations: Manage reservations, update guest profiles, and process payments accurately using our property management systems.
- Event Support: Assist with setup and coordination for special events, weddings, and conferences held at the hotel.
- Facility Maintenance: Monitor the lobby and common areas to ensure they are clean, organized, and presentable at all times.
- Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with housekeeping, maintenance, and culinary teams to resolve issues promptly.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED required; hospitality certification is a plus.
- Experience: Previous customer service experience is preferred but not mandatory for our Entry Level positions; we provide full training.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Interpersonal Skills: Strong customer service orientation with a friendly and approachable personality.
- Technology: Basic computer literacy and ability to learn new software quickly.
- Availability: Flexibility to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for extended periods and lift light objects (up to 20 lbs).
