Responsibilities
- Supervise and inspect daily cleaning tasks to ensure the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation across all hotel rooms and public areas.
- Manage shift schedules, assign duties to housekeeping staff, and conduct shift briefings to ensure clear communication.
- Monitor and inventory cleaning supplies, ensuring adequate stock levels and cost-effective usage.
- Address and resolve guest complaints or maintenance issues promptly, escalating complex problems to management.
- Enforce strict adherence to health, safety, and sanitation protocols (OSHA standards).
- Conduct regular quality control inspections of rooms and report findings to the Executive Housekeeper.
- Foster a positive and team-oriented work environment that encourages productivity and staff retention.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in housekeeping, hospitality, or a related supervisory role is preferred.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to motivate a diverse team.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- High attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining immaculate standards.
- Basic computer literacy for reporting and inventory management.
- Physical stamina required to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs for extended periods.
