Responsibilities
- Guest Relations: Greet guests warmly upon arrival and departure, ensuring a welcoming first and last impression.
- Front Desk Support: Assist the front desk team with check-in and check-out procedures, answering phones, and managing basic inquiries.
- General Hospitality: Provide information about local attractions, dining, and transportation to guests.
- Maintenance & Cleanliness: Assist in maintaining the cleanliness of the lobby, public areas, and guest rooms as needed.
- Event Support: Help set up and break down for small events and conferences within the hotel.
- Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with housekeeping, maintenance, and culinary teams to ensure guest satisfaction.
Qualifications
- No Experience Required: We are looking for candidates with a positive attitude and a willingness to learn; prior hospitality experience is a bonus but not mandatory.
- Education: High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Communication: Excellent verbal communication skills and a professional telephone manner.
- Availability: Must be flexible to work varying shifts, including weekends, nights, and holidays.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for extended periods, lift light objects (up to 20 lbs), and move around the hotel property efficiently.
- Computer Skills: Basic computer literacy is helpful but training will be provided.
