What You Will Do:
Our Entry Level Hotel positions are designed to get you started on the ground floor of the hospitality industry. You will work closely with our management team to ensure our guests have an unforgettable stay. This is a fantastic opportunity to develop transferable skills in customer service, operations, and team management.
Responsibilities
- Front Desk Operations: Greet guests warmly upon arrival, check them in/out efficiently, and manage room assignments with a focus on accuracy.
- Guest Relations: Address guest inquiries, complaints, and requests promptly to ensure a 5-star experience for every visitor.
- Reservations Management: Assist in processing incoming reservations via phone, email, and online booking systems.
- Housekeeping Coordination: Communicate effectively with the housekeeping team to ensure rooms are prepared to the highest standards before guest arrival.
- Administrative Support: Maintain accurate records of guest information, handle cash transactions, and assist with general office duties.
- Event Support: Help coordinate small in-house events and ensure all amenities are available to guests.
- Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other departments such as food & beverage and maintenance to resolve issues and improve guest satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED required; some college is a plus.
- Experience: No prior hospitality experience necessary; we value attitude over experience.
- Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential.
- Availability: Must be flexible to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Technology: Basic computer proficiency and comfort with learning new property management software.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights (up to 25 lbs).
- Professionalism: A polished, professional appearance and a positive, can-do attitude.
