Responsibilities
- Operational Leadership: Direct and supervise all housekeeping staff, including scheduling, assigning duties, and ensuring all tasks are completed efficiently and to the highest standard.
- Quality Assurance: Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house areas to ensure cleanliness, hygiene, and adherence to brand standards.
- Inventory Management: Monitor and manage housekeeping supplies, linens, and chemical inventory to minimize waste and control costs.
- Staff Training: Develop and implement training programs for new hires and current staff to improve skills in cleaning techniques, safety protocols, and customer service.
- Guest Relations: Address guest inquiries or complaints regarding cleanliness promptly and professionally, ensuring a positive guest experience.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all housekeeping operations comply with local health codes, safety regulations, and company policies.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive experience in housekeeping, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or management role within the hospitality industry.
- Leadership Skills: Strong ability to lead, motivate, and manage a diverse team effectively.
- Attention to Detail: Meticulous attention to detail with a passion for maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
