Responsibilities
- Efficiently manage guest check-in/check-out processes using Marriott's OPERA system
- Handle reservations, room assignments, and payment processing with precision
- Provide personalized concierge services and local Detroit attraction recommendations
- Resolve guest inquiries and complaints promptly while maintaining service standards
- Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure guest satisfaction
- Process billing transactions and manage cash drawer reconciliation
- Uphold brand standards through consistent service excellence and attention to detail
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year hotel front desk or customer service experience
- Proficiency in property management systems (OPERA preferred)
- Exceptional communication and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to multitask in fast-paced environment with high guest volume
- Basic knowledge of Detroit attractions, events, and transportation
- Flexible availability including nights, weekends, and holidays
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid Michigan driver's license preferred
