Responsibilities
- Manage guest check-in/check-out processes efficiently using Opera property management system
- Handle reservations, modifications, and room assignments with precision
- Respond to guest inquiries via phone, email, and in-person with professionalism
- Process payments, manage billing discrepancies, and maintain accurate records
- Coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance, and security teams for seamless operations
- Upsell hotel amenities, packages, and local attractions to enhance guest experience
- Maintain a clean, organized front desk area and lobby space
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; hospitality certification preferred
- 1+ years of front desk or customer service experience in hotel industry
- Proficiency with property management systems (Opera, Fidelio)
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong problem-solving abilities and conflict resolution expertise
- Ability to work flexible shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Basic knowledge of Houston attractions and transportation options
- Valid Texas driver's license and reliable transportation
