Responsibilities
- Manage seamless guest check-in/check-out processes using Opera property management system
- Handle guest inquiries with professionalism and resolve issues promptly
- Coordinate with housekeeping, valet, and concierge departments for guest requests
- Process payments and maintain accurate financial transaction records
- Upsell hotel amenities and services to enhance guest experience
- Maintain a clean and organized front desk area
- Assist with VIP guest arrivals and special event coordination
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of hotel front desk experience in luxury properties
- Proficiency in Opera PMS and reservation systems
- Exceptional communication skills in English (additional languages preferred)
- Ability to multitask in high-pressure situations
- Valid New York State hospitality certification
- Strong knowledge of NYC attractions and transportation systems
- Flexible availability including nights, weekends, and holidays
