Responsibilities
- Check in/out guests efficiently using Opera property management system
- Manage reservations and room assignments while maintaining occupancy targets
- Process payments and handle cash transactions accurately
- Resolve guest inquiries and complaints with exceptional service
- Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance teams for guest requests
- Market hotel amenities and local attractions to enhance guest stays
- Maintain detailed records and shift reports
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year hotel front desk or customer service experience
- Proficiency with property management systems (Opera preferred)
- Exceptional communication and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to work flexible shifts including nights/weekends/holidays
- Valid California driver's license (for occasional airport runs)
- Basic knowledge of Long Beach attractions and transportation
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must pass background check and drug screening
