Responsibilities
- Manage guest check-in/check-out procedures using Opera property management system
- Handle reservation inquiries, modifications, and walk-in bookings
- Process payments, reconcile daily transactions, and maintain accurate financial records
- Coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance, and valet departments
- Resolve guest complaints with empathy and efficiency
- Upsell hotel amenities and local attractions
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of front desk area
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; hospitality certification preferred
- 1+ years front desk or customer service experience
- Proficiency with PMS systems (Opera, Fidelio, etc.)
- Exceptional communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to multitask in fast-paced environments
- Basic knowledge of Philadelphia attractions and transportation
- Flexible availability including weekends and holidays
- Valid Pennsylvania driver's license (for valet coordination)
