Responsibilities
- Check in/out guests efficiently using Opera PMS while maintaining accurate records
- Resolve guest inquiries and complaints with professionalism and empathy
- Manage room inventory and coordinate with housekeeping for optimal turnover
- Process payments and handle cash/credit transactions securely
- Upsell premium rooms, dining packages, and local attractions
- Collaborate with concierge and valet teams for seamless service
- Maintain lobby cleanliness and professional appearance
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year hotel front desk or customer service experience
- Proficiency in hotel management systems (Opera preferred)
- Exceptional communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to multitask in high-pressure situations
- Valid Maryland driver's license preferred
- Flexible availability including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Basic knowledge of Baltimore tourism attractions
- Positive attitude with genuine passion for hospitality
