Responsibilities
- Manage seamless guest check-in/check-out processes using Opera property management system
- Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and special requests with exceptional problem-solving skills
- Process payments, maintain accurate cash handling procedures, and generate daily reports
- Coordinate with housekeeping, valet, and F&B departments to ensure flawless guest experiences
- Upsell hotel amenities, dining packages, and local attractions to enhance guest satisfaction
- Maintain accurate guest records and ensure data privacy compliance
- Participate in daily team briefings and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year hotel front desk or customer service experience
- Proficiency with property management systems (Opera, Fidelio, or similar)
- Exceptional communication and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to work flexible shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record for valet parking duties
- Basic knowledge of Kansas City attractions and transportation options
- High school diploma or equivalent; hospitality degree preferred
- Fluent in English; Spanish proficiency highly desirable
