Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional guest service during check-in/out, reservations, and inquiries
- Manage room assignments, billing, and payment processing
- Coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance, and security teams
- Utilize Opera property management system efficiently
- Resolve guest complaints with empathy and proactive solutions
- Train and mentor new front desk staff
- Execute upselling strategies for premium rooms and amenities
- Maintain accurate guest records and confidential information
Qualifications
- 2+ years hotel front desk or customer service experience
- Proficiency with property management systems (Opera preferred)
- Exceptional communication and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to work flexible shifts including nights/weekends
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Strong attention to detail and multitasking abilities
- Basic knowledge of Louisville attractions and services
