Responsibilities
- Provide warm, professional check-in/check-out services for hotel guests
- Manage reservation systems and optimize room assignments for maximum occupancy
- Resolve guest inquiries and concerns with prompt, personalized solutions
- Process payments and maintain accurate financial transaction records
- Coordinate with housekeeping, concierge, and maintenance teams
- Utilize Opera property management system for daily operations
- Upsell hotel amenities and special packages to enhance guest experiences
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of hotel front desk or guest services experience
- Proficiency with property management systems (Opera preferred)
- Exceptional communication and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to multitask effectively in high-pressure situations
- Valid New York State Food Handler's Certificate (or willingness to obtain)
- Fluency in English; multilingual candidates strongly preferred
- Knowledge of NYC attractions and transportation systems
- Flexible availability including nights, weekends, and holidays
