Responsibilities
- Manage seamless guest check-in/check-out processes using hotel management systems
- Handle reservation modifications and optimize room assignments for maximum occupancy
- Resolve guest inquiries with professionalism and local expertise on Portland attractions
- Process payments and maintain accurate financial transaction records
- Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance teams for guest requests
- Implement upselling strategies for premium rooms and hotel amenities
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year hospitality or customer service experience
- Proficiency in hotel property management systems (Opera preferred)
- Exceptional communication and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to work flexible shifts including nights/weekends/holidays
- Basic knowledge of Portland tourism and transportation networks
- High school diploma or equivalent required
