Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional guest service through check-in/out processes, room assignments, and personalized assistance
- Manage reservations, billing inquiries, and payment processing with precision
- Coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance, and security teams to ensure seamless operations
- Utilize hotel management systems (Opera/PMS) to maintain accurate guest records
- Handle guest complaints and resolve issues promptly to maintain high satisfaction
- Upsell hotel amenities, dining, and spa services to enhance guest experiences
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional lobby environment
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year experience in hotel front desk or guest services role
- Proficiency with hotel property management systems (Opera/PMS preferred)
- Exceptional communication and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to multitask effectively in high-pressure situations
- Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
- Valid Illinois driver's license (if required for local errands)
- Flexible availability including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Basic knowledge of Chicago attractions and local transportation
