Responsibilities
- Check in/out guests efficiently using PMS systems while maintaining accuracy in reservations
- Handle guest inquiries, resolve complaints, and coordinate with housekeeping/maintenance teams
- Process payments, manage cash floats, and reconcile daily financial transactions
- Market hotel amenities, local attractions, and special promotions to guests
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front desk area and lobby
- Monitor security protocols and emergency procedures
- Collaborate with management to optimize guest satisfaction metrics
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; hospitality certification preferred
- Minimum 1 year front desk or customer service experience
- Proficiency with Opera, Amadeus, or similar hotel management systems
- Exceptional communication skills in English; Spanish fluency highly desirable
- Ability to work flexible shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Strong problem-solving abilities and conflict resolution techniques
- Valid Arizona driver's license and reliable transportation
- Basic knowledge of Tucson tourism attractions and transportation
