Responsibilities
- Manage seamless guest check-in/check-out processes using hotel property management systems
- Handle reservation modifications, cancellations, and room assignments with precision
- Resolve guest inquiries and complaints promptly while maintaining service standards
- Process payments, manage billing discrepancies, and maintain accurate financial records
- Coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance, and valet departments for guest requests
- Upsell hotel amenities, dining options, and special packages to enhance guest experience
- Maintain security protocols and safeguard guest confidentiality
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year hotel front desk or customer service experience required
- Proficiency with hotel management systems (e.g., Opera, Fidelio)
- Exceptional communication and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to work flexible shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Valid California driver's license and clean driving record preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent; hospitality degree a plus
- Basic knowledge of Sacramento attractions and local transportation
- Fluency in English; Spanish proficiency highly valued
