Responsibilities
- Check-in/check-out guests efficiently using Opera property management system
- Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints with professionalism
- Process payments, manage reservations, and maintain accurate records
- Coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance, and F&B departments
- Upsell hotel amenities and services to enhance guest experience
- Execute emergency procedures and security protocols
- Maintain pristine front desk appearance and organization
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; hospitality degree preferred
- 1+ years hotel front desk or customer service experience
- Proficiency in PMS systems (Opera, Fidelio) and MS Office
- Exceptional communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work flexible shifts, weekends, and holidays
- Basic knowledge of hotel operations and local attractions
- Valid North Carolina driver's license (if required for errands)
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift 25 lbs
