Responsibilities
- Manage guest check-in/check-out processes with efficiency and warmth
- Handle reservation inquiries and modify bookings using Opera PMS
- Process payments, manage cash drawers, and reconcile daily transactions
- Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance departments for guest requests
- Assist with emergency procedures and security protocols
- Train and mentor new front desk staff on operational standards
- Monitor occupancy rates and adjust pricing strategies as directed
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year hotel front desk or customer service experience
- Proficiency in property management systems (Opera, Fidelio)
- Strong communication and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to work flexible shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Basic knowledge of local attractions and transportation options
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid driver's license preferred
- First Aid/CPR certification a plus
