Responsibilities

  • Check guests in and out efficiently, verifying registration information and collecting payments accurately.
  • Handle reservation inquiries, modifications, and cancellations using the hotel's Property Management System (PMS).
  • Perform Night Audit duties during weekend shifts, including balancing daily financial transactions and preparing end-of-day reports.
  • Maintain a clean, welcoming lobby area and assist guests with directions, local recommendations, and concierge services.
  • Address and resolve guest complaints or special requests promptly to ensure high satisfaction levels.
  • Uphold hotel security protocols and safety standards at all times.
  • Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure guest rooms and public spaces are pristine.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
  • Previous experience in a front desk, concierge, or hospitality role is preferred but not required (training provided).
  • Must be available to work weekends (Friday, Saturday, and/or Sunday).
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a professional, welcoming demeanor.
  • Basic computer proficiency and familiarity with reservation systems (e.g., Opera, Micros) is a plus.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate amounts of luggage or supplies.
