Responsibilities
- Check guests in and out efficiently, verifying registration information and collecting payments accurately.
- Handle reservation inquiries, modifications, and cancellations using the hotel's Property Management System (PMS).
- Perform Night Audit duties during weekend shifts, including balancing daily financial transactions and preparing end-of-day reports.
- Maintain a clean, welcoming lobby area and assist guests with directions, local recommendations, and concierge services.
- Address and resolve guest complaints or special requests promptly to ensure high satisfaction levels.
- Uphold hotel security protocols and safety standards at all times.
- Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure guest rooms and public spaces are pristine.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Previous experience in a front desk, concierge, or hospitality role is preferred but not required (training provided).
- Must be available to work weekends (Friday, Saturday, and/or Sunday).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a professional, welcoming demeanor.
- Basic computer proficiency and familiarity with reservation systems (e.g., Opera, Micros) is a plus.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate amounts of luggage or supplies.
