In this role, you will serve as the first point of contact for our guests, ensuring a smooth and memorable arrival and departure experience. Responsibilities
- Check guests in and out efficiently using the Property Management System (PMS).
- Handle all front desk inquiries, including directions, recommendations, and local information.
- Process payments and handle cash handling with 100% accuracy.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the front desk area and lobby.
- Resolve guest complaints and issues in a calm, professional, and empathetic manner.
- Assist with administrative tasks, such as filing, answering phones, and email correspondence.
- Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance to ensure guest rooms meet our quality standards.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; hospitality or customer service experience is a plus.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Property Management Systems (e.g., Opera, Micros).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a polite and professional demeanor.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends, holidays, and evenings.
- Basic computer skills and the ability to learn new software quickly.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 20 lbs.
