We are seeking a dynamic and experienced General Manager to lead our prestigious property in the heart of Atlanta. As the General Manager, you will be responsible for the overall profitability, operations, and guest satisfaction of the hotel. You will serve as the face of the property, fostering a culture of excellence among our diverse team members.
Responsibilities
- Oversee all daily hotel operations, including front office, housekeeping, food and beverage, and engineering.
- Develop and implement strategic business plans to maximize revenue and profitability while maintaining high standards of service.
- Manage the hotel's financial performance, including P&L analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.
- Ensure the highest levels of guest satisfaction and loyalty through proactive service recovery and personalized experiences.
- Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing leadership team and staff across all departments.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with local community leaders, government officials, and industry partners.
- Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal laws, as well as corporate policies and brand standards.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 7-10 years of progressive experience in hotel management, with at least 3 years in a General Manager or Assistant General Manager role.
- Demonstrated success in driving revenue growth and managing P&L in a luxury or upscale hospitality environment.
- Strong knowledge of hotel operations, including front office, sales, marketing, and food and beverage.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Associate's degree or higher in Hospitality, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
