Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional guest service through warm, personalized check-in/check-out experiences
- Manage reservations, room assignments, and guest requests with precision
- Handle billing inquiries and payment processing accurately
- Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance teams for optimal guest satisfaction
- Utilize hotel management systems (Opera, PMS) efficiently
- Resolve guest complaints with professionalism and empathy
- Maintain a clean, organized front desk environment
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year hotel front desk or customer service experience
- Proficiency in property management systems (e.g., Opera, Fidelio)
- Exceptional communication and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to multitask in high-pressure situations
- Valid California driver's license (if required for errands)
- Flexible availability including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Basic knowledge of Oakland attractions and transportation
- High school diploma or equivalent required
