Responsibilities
- Manage the front desk operations, including efficient check-ins, check-outs, and room assignments.
- Greet guests warmly and professionally, ensuring a welcoming arrival experience.
- Handle phone inquiries and manage correspondence promptly and accurately.
- Process payments and manage credit card transactions securely.
- Address guest complaints or issues with empathy and escalate complex matters to management.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the front desk area and lobby.
- Assist in training new staff members and cross-training in other departments.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a front desk or hospitality role.
- Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in property management systems (PMS) and MS Office Suite.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a service-oriented mindset.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; hotel management certification is a plus.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 20 lbs.
