Responsibilities
- Greet and Welcome: Provide a warm and professional welcome to all guests upon arrival, ensuring a seamless check-in process.
- Guest Services: Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and requests efficiently while maintaining the highest standards of customer service.
- Reservations: Manage room reservations, modify bookings, and ensure accurate data entry into the Property Management System (PMS).
- Front Office Operations: Process payments, post charges, and balance the daily register accurately and on time.
- Lobby Maintenance: Monitor the lobby area to ensure it remains tidy, organized, and welcoming at all times.
- Concierge Support: Assist guests with local recommendations, transportation arrangements, and special requests.
- Security: Adhere to all hotel security protocols and safety procedures to ensure a safe environment for guests and staff.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED required; prior experience in hospitality or the hotel industry is preferred.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a professional telephone manner.
- Experience: Previous experience as a Front Desk Agent, Receptionist, or in a similar customer service role.
- Computer Proficiency: Must be comfortable using computers, POS systems, and property management software (e.g., Opera, StayNTouch).
- Professionalism: Must present a neat, professional appearance and adhere to the uniform code.
- Problem Solving: Ability to think on your feet and resolve guest issues calmly and effectively.
- Availability: Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends, holidays, and evenings.
