Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome guests warmly upon arrival, managing check-in and check-out procedures efficiently using our Property Management System (PMS).
- Answer incoming phone calls and emails promptly, addressing inquiries regarding reservations, amenities, and local attractions with a professional tone.
- Process payments and handle financial transactions accurately, including credit card authorizations and cash reconciliation.
- Resolve guest complaints and issues in a calm, empathetic, and problem-solving manner to ensure high levels of guest satisfaction.
- Upsell hotel amenities and services, such as spa packages, dining options, and room upgrades, to maximize revenue opportunities.
- Monitor the lobby and common areas to ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for all guests and staff.
- Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure room readiness and address any maintenance requests promptly.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required; hospitality or customer service experience is preferred.
- Previous experience working as a Front Desk Agent, Receptionist, or in a similar role within the hospitality industry.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact with diverse guests from various cultural backgrounds.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and hotel PMS software (e.g., Opera, Smith Travel) is a plus.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and work a flexible schedule, including weekends, holidays, and evening shifts.
- Basic computer literacy and attention to detail are essential for accurate data entry and record-keeping.
- Must possess a valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
