Responsibilities
- Guest Relations: Provide a warm, professional greeting to all guests and manage the check-in and check-out process efficiently, ensuring accuracy and security protocols are met.
- Operations Management: Answer incoming calls with a polite and professional demeanor, manage the switchboard, and direct inquiries to the appropriate departments promptly.
- Administrative Support: Process payments, handle cash transactions, and maintain accurate records of guest activities and transactions using our Property Management System (PMS).
- Communication: Relay messages to staff members, answer questions regarding local amenities, and resolve guest complaints or special requests with a focus on guest satisfaction.
- Facility Maintenance: Monitor the front desk and lobby area to ensure a clean, organized, and welcoming environment for visitors and guests at all times.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure guest rooms and facilities are in pristine condition.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Hospitality or Business preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a front desk, reception, or customer service role is highly desirable.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel) and familiarity with Property Management Systems (PMS) such as Opera or StayNTouch is a plus.
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with a diverse clientele.
- Professionalism: Demonstrated ability to maintain a professional appearance and demeanor while working in a fast-paced environment.
- Availability: Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, holidays, and evenings as required by business needs.
