Responsibilities
- Guest Relations: Greet guests warmly upon arrival, check them in/out efficiently, and answer inquiries regarding hotel amenities, local attractions, and services.
- Reservations Management: Process incoming reservations accurately using the Property Management System (PMS) and update room status.
- Problem Resolution: Address guest complaints and concerns promptly and professionally to ensure a positive guest experience.
- Security & Safety: Monitor front desk activity, verify identity for room access, and follow all hotel security protocols.
- Administrative Tasks: Maintain accurate records of guest interactions, handle cash transactions, and reconcile daily reports.
- Upselling: Promote hotel services, spa packages, and dining options to enhance the guest's stay and increase revenue.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous experience in a front desk or hospitality role is preferred; entry-level candidates with strong customer service skills are encouraged to apply.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a professional and friendly demeanor.
- Technical Proficiency: Ability to operate hotel software (PMS) and computer systems quickly and accurately.
- Availability: Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends, holidays, and nights.
- Attention to Detail: Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a busy environment.
- High School Diploma: Minimum requirement; a degree in Hospitality Management is a plus.
