Responsibilities
- Greets guests warmly and professionally upon arrival, checking them in and out efficiently using property management systems.
- Answers incoming phone calls and emails promptly, routing inquiries to the appropriate department or staff member.
- Manages the front desk lobby area, ensuring it is clean, organized, and welcoming at all times.
- Handles cash transactions, credit card processing, and operates the Point of Sale (POS) system accurately.
- Assists with guest requests, such as room service, transportation, or local directions, ensuring high satisfaction.
- Maintains strict security protocols and visitor logs to ensure the safety of guests and staff.
- Resolves guest complaints or issues in a calm and professional manner to maintain a positive reputation.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; previous experience in hospitality or customer service is preferred.
- Strong verbal communication skills with the ability to interact with diverse guests and colleagues.
- Proficiency in basic computer applications and hotel property management software.
- Professional appearance and grooming standards are mandatory.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and work in a fast-paced, high-energy environment.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Must pass a background check and drug screen.
