Responsibilities
- Greet and Welcome: Provide a warm, professional welcome to guests upon arrival and ensure a smooth check-in/check-out process.
- Reservation Management: Manage room reservations efficiently using our property management system and answer incoming calls and emails promptly.
- Guest Assistance: Address guest inquiries, requests, and complaints with a solution-oriented mindset to ensure 100% guest satisfaction.
- Lobby Maintenance: Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the front desk area and lobby to uphold our high standards of presentation.
- Payment Processing: Accurately process payments, handle cash, credit cards, and resolve any billing discrepancies.
- Security & Access: Control access to the property, verify ID badges, and ensure the safety of guests and staff.
- Shift Reporting: Complete daily shift logs, reconcile cash drawers, and hand over duties to the next shift.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience in front desk operations, guest services, or hospitality preferred.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a friendly and professional demeanor.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency with computers and Point of Sale (POS) systems; ability to learn new software quickly.
- Availability: Must be available to work flexible shifts, including weekends, nights, and holidays.
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Problem Solving: Ability to remain calm under pressure and resolve guest issues effectively.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
