Responsibilities
- Guest Relations: Greet and welcome guests warmly upon arrival, ensuring a memorable first impression and addressing all inquiries immediately.
- Operations: Manage the front desk operations, including check-ins, check-outs, and room assignments using our property management systems.
- Communication: Answer and direct incoming phone calls, emails, and walk-ins with professionalism and efficiency.
- Payment Processing: Accurately process payments, handle cash transactions, and balance the daily house bank.
- Informational Support: Provide guests with information regarding local attractions, dining, and transportation options.
- Facility Maintenance: Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the reception area, lobby, and common spaces.
- Issue Resolution: Resolve guest complaints and special requests to ensure 100% guest satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED is preferred; hospitality experience is a plus but not required for entry-level applicants.
- Communication: Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills with a friendly, outgoing demeanor.
- Technical Skills: Basic proficiency with computers and the ability to learn new property management software quickly.
- Schedule: Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs (e.g., luggage or equipment).
