Responsibilities
- Greet and Welcome: Provide a warm and professional welcome to guests upon arrival, ensuring a smooth check-in process.
- Guest Services: Assist guests with inquiries, room service requests, restaurant reservations, and local recommendations to ensure a comfortable stay.
- Reservations Management: Answer incoming calls and manage the reservation system, accurately inputting and updating guest information.
- Check-Out: Process payments, print folios, and ensure a seamless departure experience for all guests.
- Front Office Support: Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the front desk area, including the reception desk and lobby.
- Problem Resolution: Handle guest complaints or concerns promptly and professionally, escalating issues to management when necessary.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED required; some college coursework in Hospitality or Business is a plus.
- Experience: Previous experience in a hotel, resort, or customer service role is preferred but not required for this entry-level role.
- Skills: Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel) and hotel management software (e.g., Opera, Micros) is desirable.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a professional telephone manner.
- Availability: Must be available to work flexible hours, including weekends, holidays, and evenings.
- Language: Bilingual (English/Spanish) is highly preferred given our diverse clientele in Miami.
