Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and departure, managing check-in and check-out procedures efficiently.
- Answer incoming phone calls and emails with a friendly demeanor, responding to inquiries regarding hotel amenities and local attractions.
- Manage room assignments, reservations, and coordinate with housekeeping to ensure guest satisfaction.
- Handle cash, credit card transactions, and operate the Point of Sale (POS) system accurately.
- Maintain the cleanliness and professional appearance of the front desk area and lobby.
- Assist guests with recommendations for dining, transportation, and local events.
- Resolve guest complaints and issues promptly to ensure a positive experience.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; some college coursework in hospitality or business is a plus.
- Previous customer service experience is preferred but not required (we train enthusiastic candidates).
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on professionalism.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, holidays, and evenings.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and hotel reservation software (e.g., Opera, Micros) is a plus.
- A valid driver's license is preferred.
- Must be friendly, approachable, and detail-oriented.
