Responsibilities
- Efficiently manage guest check-ins/check-outs and process payments using our PMS system
- Handle reservation inquiries, modifications, and confirmations with precision
- Act as primary point of contact for guest requests, concerns, and emergency situations
- Collaborate with housekeeping, maintenance, and F&B departments to ensure seamless operations
- Maintain accurate records of guest feedback and incident reports
- Upsell hotel amenities and services to enhance guest satisfaction and revenue
- Adhere to all brand standards and safety protocols during all shifts
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; hospitality certification preferred
- 1+ years experience in hotel front desk or customer service role
- Proficiency with Opera PMS or similar property management systems
- Exceptional communication and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to work flexible shifts (evenings, weekends, holidays)
- Strong attention to detail and multitasking abilities
- Basic knowledge of Chicago tourism attractions and transportation
- Valid Illinois driver's license (for occasional airport runs)
