Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome guests warmly upon arrival, ensuring a smooth check-in and check-out process using property management systems.
- Manage high volumes of incoming calls and emails, resolving inquiries regarding reservations, amenities, and local recommendations promptly.
- Handle guest complaints and special requests with grace, escalating complex issues to management while maintaining a positive guest experience.
- Maintain the cleanliness and professional appearance of the front desk area, lobby, and public spaces at all times.
- Process payments and reconcile daily financial transactions accurately and securely.
- Assist with luggage handling and valet services when needed to enhance guest convenience.
- Stay updated on local events, attractions, and restaurant recommendations to provide superior concierge service.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a front desk or guest services role within the hospitality industry.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and hotel property management software (e.g., Opera, GuestCentric).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a friendly and professional demeanor.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays as required by business needs.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Must present a professional appearance and adhere to the company’s dress code standards.
