Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome guests warmly, ensuring a positive first impression and setting the tone for their stay.
- Check guests in and out efficiently using our property management system (PMS) and hotel software.
- Handle all guest inquiries, complaints, and special requests with patience, professionalism, and a solution-oriented approach.
- Process payments, including credit card transactions, and prepare accurate daily reports.
- Answer incoming phone calls and emails promptly, transferring to the appropriate department when necessary.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the front desk area, lobby, and public spaces.
- Assist in coordinating housekeeping and maintenance requests to ensure guest satisfaction.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; hospitality or customer service certification is a plus.
- Previous experience in a hotel front desk or customer service role is preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to interact with diverse guests.
- Ability to work flexible schedules, including weekends, holidays, and evenings.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and hotel reservation software.
- A professional appearance and a positive attitude.
