Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and professionally upon arrival, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere.
- Check guests in and out efficiently using the Property Management System (PMS).
- Handle all front desk operations, including answering phones, managing reservations, and processing payments.
- Respond to guest inquiries, requests, and complaints in a timely and courteous manner to ensure 100% guest satisfaction.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the reception area, lobby, and public spaces.
- Assist with baggage handling and provide directions or local recommendations to visitors.
- Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure room readiness.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; post-secondary education in hospitality is a plus.
- Previous experience as a Front Desk Agent or in a customer service role is preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and hotel management software (e.g., Opera, Micros) is highly desirable.
- Strong verbal communication skills and a friendly, approachable demeanor.
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift light luggage (up to 25 lbs).
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends, nights, and holidays.
- Must be able to obtain a valid work authorization in the United States.
