Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome guests warmly upon arrival, providing a personalized check-in experience that sets a positive tone for their stay.
- Manage guest check-outs efficiently, ensuring accurate billing and processing of payments while addressing any concerns.
- Handle incoming phone calls and emails professionally, providing information about hotel amenities, local attractions, and booking services.
- Process reservations and room assignments using our Property Management System (PMS) with precision and speed.
- Maintain the front desk area in pristine condition, ensuring it reflects the high standards of our hotel.
- Resolve guest inquiries, complaints, and special requests promptly and with a focus on customer satisfaction.
- Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure guest rooms and public areas are ready for occupancy.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; prior experience in hospitality or customer service is preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with diverse guests and staff.
- Proficiency in computer systems, specifically Property Management Software (PMS) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends, nights, and holidays, as part of a rotating schedule.
- A professional appearance and demeanor that aligns with the hotel's brand standards.
- Basic math skills for handling transactions and cash management.
- Proactive problem-solver with a positive attitude and a genuine desire to help others.
